Paediatric Physiotherapy

Kate Clark has 10 years’ experience as a Specialist Paediatric physiotherapist within neuro-disability in the NHS. Kate uses her Bobath training to optimise normal movement and posture in order to promote function in children with neuro-disabilities. Early intervention is paramount in rehabilitation, particularly in babies and infants. The focus of paediatric rehabilitation is to optimise the development and well-being of the baby/child/young adolescent and also educate parents to participate in their child’s treatment. It’s particularly important to effectively empower older children, to enable them to take responsibility for their own health and recovery. Kate also treats adults with neurological conditions.
